Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Start Date: 07-13-2026
End Date: 10-12-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in New Hampshire (or compact eligible)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in electronic health records
