Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during endodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
- Take and process dental X-rays accurately
- Provide chairside support and comfort to patients during procedures
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records
- Manage inventory of supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in Maryland
- Current CPR certification required
- Experience in endodontics preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments sterilization and handling
- Proficient in taking and processing dental radiographs
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Familiarity with dental software and charting
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
