Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Lima, Ohio
Start Date: 07-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, 36-hour guarantee
Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria
- Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms, intervene as needed
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications with precision
- Recognize changes in patient status and take immediate action
- Lead and guide LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries during your shift
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry
- Active Ohio or Compact RN license
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Competent with cardiac medications and telemetry monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Must be committed to all assigned shifts and punctuality
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac medication management (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, etc.)
- Telemetry monitoring and heart rhythm interpretation
- Stroke recognition and intervention
- Critical thinking in fast-paced environments
- Effective communication and teamwork
