Location: Clarkston, Washington

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 5 eight-hour shifts, rotating call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care
Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families
Supervise and mentor assigned team members
Deliver safe, therapeutic nursing care in the operating room as both circulator and scrub nurse
Maintain a sterile and organized work area
Participate in 24-hour call coverage to ensure patient needs are met
Use advanced assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications

Qualifications

Current Washington State or Multi-State RN license (must be active)
Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
ACLS and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing preferred
Ability to work rotating call and respond promptly

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient care, operating room procedures, and sterile technique
Experience with circulating and scrubbing in the OR
Strong nursing assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with recovery room nursing and post-anesthesia care
