Roles & Responsibilities

• Observe each resident on a continuing basis, alert to changes in mental and physical well-being, and notify the supervisor as needed
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, with proper documentation via computerized MARs/TARs
• Supervise LNAs in accordance with New Hampshire Board of Nursing requirements, assign and measure nursing staff resident care
• Accompany physician on resident rounds to address medical needs and facilitate communication during 60-day reviews
• Perform wound care, manage wound vacs, administer oxygen and gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings per policy
• Admit, discharge, and transfer residents, completing all documentation and notifications
• Communicate with residents' families to resolve concerns, notify of new orders, and obtain consent when necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience in long-term care (within the last 6 months)
• Active New Hampshire RN license (must be active at time of submission)
• IV certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding
• COVID-19 vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Experience in rural or small facilities highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in medication administration and electronic MARs/TARs
• Skilled in wound care and wound vac management
• Knowledge of oxygen administration and tube feedings
• Ability to supervise and delegate to nursing staff
• IV certified or willing to become certified
