Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' function through formal and informal testing to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
• Collaborate with physicians to create and update written treatment regimes as part of the plan of care
• Devise treatment schedules tailored to each patient's needs, coordinating with clinical support staff and discussing with patients and families
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, condition, prognosis, and treatment rationale including rest, exercise, modalities, and other interventions

Qualifications

• Active Michigan PT license (LARA or Nursys verification required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• At least 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
• Outpatient experience required
• Acute care experience highly preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Lincoln, MI (facility will not consider local candidates)

• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient response
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Proficiency in physical therapy modalities and interventions
• Team collaboration and coordination with clinical support staff
