Roles & Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate treatment effects and recommend changes to physicians and team members
• Perform thorough patient assessments to guide individualized therapy plans
• Select and implement therapeutic procedures to maintain, improve, and restore function
• Provide skilled care for neuromuscular, musculoskeletal/orthopedic, integumentary, pulmonary and cardiovascular conditions
• Document patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families to support long-term recovery and functional independence

Qualifications

• Licensed in Colorado as a Physical Therapist (PT) — PTAs may be considered per position type (Position listed as PT/PTA)
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area (candidates must be open to relocation)
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills and a passion for patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and outcome evaluation
• Therapeutic procedure selection and implementation
• Experience with neuromuscular, musculoskeletal/orthopedic, integumentary, pulmonary and cardiovascular rehabilitation
• Ability to recommend treatment changes and collaborate with physicians and staff
• Clear documentation and effective patient/family education skills
