Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside assistance and hands-on patient care
Support patients with activities of daily living like bathing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Assist clinical staff with specimen collection and basic procedures
Document patient interactions and care tasks clearly in the medical record
Communicate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Participate actively in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of PCT training program or CNA certification is a plus
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to follow infection control procedures and facility policies
Available for a 4-hour clinical shift and able to attend orientation as scheduled

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
PCT training or CNA certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and assisting with ADLs
Knowledge of basic vital signs and patient monitoring
Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
Good documentation skills and attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset and clear communication with clinical staff
