Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab during day shifts
• Perform rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring to support procedural teams
• Respond to on-call activations promptly and professionally during assigned on-call days
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation, complete competency checklists, and participate in required exams
• Adhere to infection control, sterile technique, and all Cath Lab protocols
• Support license/certification verification and keep required credentials current

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• DCI/BVP required
• NIHSS required
• Familiarity with Cath Lab workflow and readiness to cover on-call responsibilities

Education

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Knowledge & Skills

• Rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring
• Cath Lab procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Strong clinical assessment and emergent response skills
• Clear communication with providers and team members during procedures
• Comfort with competency-based testing and skills validation processes
