Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and invasive CT procedures with accuracy and patient-centered care
• Provide ED trauma and stroke imaging rapidly and reliably to support urgent care
• Operate GE CT scanners and Medrad injectors, ensuring proper setup and safety
• Use Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS for image capture, storage, and documentation
• Prepare patients for imaging, including venipuncture for contrast when required
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, ED staff, and radiology team members
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and departmental policies
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by supporting teammates and communicating effectively

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT imaging experience (as stated)
• Demonstrated skills in invasive CT, ED trauma imaging, and stroke imaging
• Experience with GE CT scanners and Medrad injectors is a plus
• Familiarity with Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS preferred
• Comfort working overnight shifts and rotating weekend coverage
• Team-player attitude and ability to work independently when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) techniques and protocols
• Invasive CT procedures and contrast administration
• ED trauma imaging workflows and stroke imaging priorities
• PACS systems including Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS
• Operation and troubleshooting of GE Optima / EVO / Revolution CT scanners
• Use and maintenance of Medrad injectors
• Pediatric, neuro, MSK, body and cardiac imaging familiarity
• Venipuncture and patient positioning best practices
