Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite administrative representative for clinical and managerial functions during assigned day shifts
• Provide leadership, consultation, and collaboration across departments in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
• Act as the primary backup for front-line managers in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership
• Plan, lead, coordinate, and facilitate hospital-wide, shift-specific delivery of quality patient care and service
• Manage staffing issues and ensure appropriate numbers and mix of staff to meet patient care needs
• Oversee patient placement and clinical coordination to optimize flow and resource use
• Address patient and family relations issues with professionalism and compassion
• Support risk management activities and ensure safety-focused practices during your shift
• Coordinate distribution and allocation of supplies and equipment to maintain clinical readiness
• Participate in evaluation, mentoring, and performance feedback to develop the care team

Qualifications

• Background in nursing and clinical leadership with demonstrated experience in staffing and clinical coordination
• Proven experience managing patient placement, risk management, and patient/family relations
• Strong leadership, communication, and public affairs/communications skills to represent the facility onsite
• Experience in evaluation, mentoring, and staff development to foster a high-performing team
• Comfort working in a multidisciplinary setting and collaborating with department heads
• Ability to cover day shifts and provide occasional coverage for weekends and holidays as needed
