Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality Med-Surg nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience (as listed in the job details)
• Able and willing to complete a 13-week travel assignment at Hendersonville Medical Center
• Current basic requirements for travel assignments (e.g., up-to-date immunizations and background checks) as required by facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med-Surg clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
• Accurate clinical documentation and electronic charting
• Excellent communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
• Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple patients in a fast-paced setting
