Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, maintaining dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate documentation in resident records and communicate effectively at handoff
Follow infection control protocols to keep residents and coworkers safe
Build positive relationships with residents and families, offering comfort and emotional support

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working overnight shifts and handling physically active care duties
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Local candidates preferred due to local-only assignment

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: bathing, feeding, toileting, and vital signs
Familiarity with resident rights and person-centered care
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Ability to document accurately and communicate effectively with clinical staff
Compassion, patience, and good observation skills
