Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered Med/Surg care for pediatric and general patients
Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and report changes promptly
Administer medications, manage IVs, and document interventions accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care plans
Educate patients and families with clear, supportive communication
Participate in orientation and unit-focused training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Washington or compact state preferred)
Experience in Med/Surg and/or Pediatrics or recent clinical training in these areas
Current BLS required; PALS preferred for pediatric-focused care
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Able to pass facility onboarding requirements and participate in orientation

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and pediatric care needs
Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
Comfortable using electronic health records and accurate documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
Ability to prioritize, triage, and respond calmly in fast-paced situations
