Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents/patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Support nursing staff by monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes promptly
• Perform routine tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance with dignity
• Document care activities clearly and accurately in the medical record
• Assist with safe transfers and use of mobility equipment to prevent injury
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and the care team
• Contribute to a positive, team-first environment that prioritizes patient safety

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification required
• T-LNA credential noted in job class (T-LNA) — strong plus if you hold it
• Willingness and ability to work a mix of 12-hour and 8-hour day shifts
• Ability to pass standard background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program and active LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and personal care skills
• Basic clinical observation and reporting (vital signs, skin integrity, etc.)
• Good documentation skills and attention to detail
• Infection control and safe body mechanics knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
