Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobilization
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control practices
- Document patient information and care given in a clear and timely manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to enhance patient experience
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtainable upon hire)
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care with compassion
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Prior CNA experience preferred but motivated new CNAs are encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care and patient transfer techniques
- Accurate vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Infection control procedures and safe handling
- Patient charting and documentation best practices
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
