Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU during 12.5-hour day shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs and support devices
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to create and execute care plans
• Administer medications and advanced interventions safely and accurately
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
• Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to maintain excellence
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies including immunization and fit-test requirements

Qualifications

• Current RN license (must be verifiable)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
• Successful completion of License/Certificate Verification and Trinity specialty competency testing
• Ability to pass required health screenings: Fit Test, drug screen, and immunization checks (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, PPD/IGRA)
• Comfort working 12+ hour day shifts with weekend coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong ICU and critical care knowledge
• Skilled in advanced patient monitoring and assessment
• Familiarity with specialty competency processes and checklists
• Excellent clinical judgment and emergency response skills
• Clear, timely clinical documentation and communication
• Team-focused approach with strong collaboration skills
