Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on neuro IR cases
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and procedural equipment to ensure patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and monitors during procedures
• Provide vigilant patient monitoring and documentation before, during, and after procedures
• Participate actively in on-call rotations and respond promptly when scheduled
• Complete required competency checklists and specialty testing to maintain clinical excellence
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes and procedural flow

Qualifications

• Neuro IR experience required — you know the procedures and equipment
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Valid relevant licensure/certification as applicable and successful license verification
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing as required
• Ability to participate in call schedule (10-12 call shifts per 6 weeks)
• Up-to-date occupational health requirements: fit test, TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA), COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, physical/health statement, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced procedural environment

• Fluoroscopy and interventional imaging suite workflows
• Sterile technique and procedural instrumentation handling
• Patient monitoring and peri-procedural care
• Radiation safety principles
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Ability to prioritize and respond calmly under pressure
