Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-procedural nursing care for patients staying 1-3 nights after surgery
• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly escalate abnormalities
• Manage cath lab patients and assist with transitions from procedure to inpatient care
• Support ER overflow when needed, triaging and stabilizing patients efficiently
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress clearly and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain competency through Trinity specialty testing and skills checklists

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (state licensure required)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience in telemetry and Med-Surg nursing, with post-procedural and cath lab patient care
• Comfortable working day shifts that may include occasional Saturdays and holiday coverage
• Ability to complete employer-required health screenings, fit test, and background verifications

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Post-operative and post-procedural nursing care
• Cath lab patient management and post-catheterization monitoring
• Med-Surg workflows, assessment, and patient education
• Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and critical thinking
• Clear communication and teamwork with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff
• Competency in electronic documentation and adherence to policies
