Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with facility policy
• Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
• Support patients and families with education, comfort, and clear communication
• Maintain accurate and timely charting to ensure continuity of care
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification — preferred
• Ability to work the overnight 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift reliably
• Clinical experience in a similar care setting is a plus (experience level not specified)
• Compliance with facility onboarding requirements (immunizations, TB test, background checks)

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN / practical nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and wound care skills
• Comfortable with patient assessment, vitals monitoring, and documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Time management, prioritization, and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Working knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
