Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with care and precision, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while explaining procedures and ensuring patient safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment while following radiation safety protocols
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the imaging system
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support timely diagnostic workflows
- Participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain skills and compliance
Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology
- State licensure in Missouri or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Strong patient care skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to complete required orientation and adhere to facility policies
Education
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in standard radiographic techniques and positioning
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record documentation
- Solid understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
- Good communication skills for working with patients of all ages
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Teamwork and collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff
