Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mental health services including assessments and individual therapy
• Develop and implement treatment plans that support meaningful client progress
• Document clinical encounters accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and correctional staff to coordinate care
• Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed to maintain safety
• Participate in case reviews and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Qualifications

• Active license as a Psychologist or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• MHPC credential indicated as needed for this role
• Experience providing mental health services in institutional or correctional settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; professionalism and reliability

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in clinical assessment and evidence-based psychotherapy techniques
• Familiarity with treatment planning and progress measurement
• Ability to manage crisis situations and perform risk assessments
• Competent in professional documentation and electronic health record use
• Culturally competent care and strong interpersonal skills for challenging environments
