Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, day and night, every third weekend, holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER and med-surg units
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced critical access hospital
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Respond to emergencies and stabilize patients until transfer or discharge
Educate patients and families on health conditions and aftercare
Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state (accepted upon acceptance)
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred, but we can help you get them)
Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in emergency and med-surg nursing procedures
Expertise in using EMR systems (Point Click experience a plus)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to handle high-stress situations with calm confidence
Patient-centered and compassionate approach to care
