Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and state laws
Document according to standards of care
Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy
Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
Use clinical expertise to guide other units and departments in support of patient care
Apply critical thinking for patient safety and experience, escalating appropriately

Qualifications

Current Wisconsin RN license
NIHSS certification
BLS/BCLS certification
Flu vaccination required
Education verification will be conducted
Willingness to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in nursing documentation and EMR (Point Click)
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend/holiday
Team collaboration and effective communication
