Location: Federal Way, WA

Start Date: 08-25-2026

End Date: 06-17-2027

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to students, managing chronic conditions and acute illnesses
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid
Promote health education and wellness in the school community
Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health
Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health policies

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license in Washington state
Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pediatric nursing practices and school health regulations
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in electronic health records
