Shift Type: 36 hours per week guarantee, every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver life-saving respiratory care in emergency, ICU, and therapeutic settings
Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilators to support patient breathing
Perform diagnostic tests like EKGs and pulmonary function assessments
Educate patients and families on pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders
Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment for optimal performance
Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

2+ years of RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) experience required
Comfortable managing ventilators and interpreting EKGs
Active Michigan respiratory care license or willingness to obtain
CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) certifications accepted
Travel experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ventilator management and respiratory therapy protocols
Proficient in EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Strong patient education and communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced critical care environments
Knowledge of quality assurance and improvement activities
