Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week; weekend and on-call schedules determined by facility

Roles & Responsibilities

Apply the nursing process to provide exceptional care to emergency department patients
Teach patients and their families about health conditions and recovery plans
Document patient care accurately in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care

Qualifications

2 years of emergency department experience required
Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years
Active ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Oregon RN license (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing and critical thinking
Proficiency in patient assessment and triage
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
