Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex gastroenterology conditions including pancreatobiliary disorders, liver issues, and digestive health needs
• Assist with interventional procedures such as stent placements and endoscopic therapies
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication management, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, compassionate care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
• Active Colorado RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of specific GI RN experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (card in hand before start)
• Previous RN Clinic/Ambulatory Care experience required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge in gastroenterology and interventional procedures
• Proficiency in point-of-care documentation systems (e.g., Point Click)
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
