Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, supporting activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers to promote resident independence and prevent injury
• Document care and observations clearly to support continuity and quality of care
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Communicate warmly and effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (or eligible) — ready to practice in Pennsylvania
• Comfortable working in long-term care or rehab settings; prior experience is a plus
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or must be willing to obtain
• Ability to work the posted day shift and participate in every-other-weekend coverage
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive, patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Accurate vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Basic documentation and charting practices
• Infection control principles and safe patient handling
• Teamwork, time management, and compassionate communication
