Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality external beam radiation treatments including IMRT, SBRT and SRS
• Operate and support treatment units such as Elekta Synergy and Elekta Infinity with attention to safety
• Perform simulation procedures and assist with treatment planning setup and verification
• Use CT/CBCT imaging and tools like C-RAD for accurate patient positioning and image guidance
• Chart thoroughly and accurately in Epic to ensure continuity of care
• Practice and promote radiation safety and isolation precautions to protect patients and staff
• Provide compassionate patient and family education and support throughout the treatment process
• Float between like units as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory and radiology services

Qualifications

• ARRT-T certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience (first-timers accepted)
• Charting experience with Epic required
• State license required at time of submission (pending licenses are not accepted)
• Comfort working with Elekta systems; training can be provided if needed
• Ability to float between like units as requested

Knowledge & Skills

• External beam therapy, IMRT and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)
• CBCT/kV/mV imaging and image-guided therapy workflows
• Simulation and treatment planning fundamentals
• Radiation safety, PPE and isolation precautions
• Experience with Mosaiq, C-RAD and Elekta treatment units
• Familiarity with SBRT, respiratory gating and specialized positioning techniques
• Strong patient teaching, chart checks and emergency response skills
