Location: Canaan, Connecticut

Start Date: 08-01-2026

End Date: 10-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and work skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
Promote independence and enhance quality of life for every patient

Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapy license in Connecticut (or compact eligible)
At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in evaluating and treating a diverse patient population
Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and adaptive equipment
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent time management and organizational skills
