Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents and patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients
- Support the healthcare team by following care plans and documenting accurately
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in North Carolina
- Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control
- Skill in taking vital signs and using medical equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and document accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and staff
