Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team clearly
Document care thoroughly and follow facility policies and infection control protocols
Build trusting relationships with patients and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and assisting with ADLs
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous experience in a long-term care or similar setting preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient safety practices
Skill in taking vital signs and observing/reporting changes
Understanding of infection control and proper PPE use
Ability to document care accurately in paper or electronic records
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams
