Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care with dignity and respect
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe transfers and ambulation while following facility protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
Help create a warm, home-like environment for residents and their families

Qualifications

Active CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility tasks
Clear background check, drug screen, and compliance with facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care skills and infection control practices
Ability to take and document vitals accurately
Basic knowledge of safe transfer and fall-prevention techniques
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing staff
