Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float seamlessly between medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units to provide top-notch patient care
Masterfully manage Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
Deliver compassionate care with 1:4 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios
Adapt quickly to varying unit needs and make a real difference every shift

Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license required by start date - apply upon offer acceptance
BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory, PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, or ENPC preferred
2-10 years of nursing experience to hit the ground running

Education

RN licensure with required Hawaii state license

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Meditech EMR, Pyxis medication dispensing, wound vac systems, and chest tube management
Strong adaptability for floating between medical, Laulima surgical acute, and cardiovascular units
