Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days a week 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM with rotating day off, plus 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days a month for call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in transporting and positioning patients for smooth procedures
Prepare patients and rooms meticulously for surgical success
Set up sterile supplies and support surgeons with instruments and sutures
Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sutures, and sponges for safety
Apply dressings and care for specimens with precision
Decontaminate equipment swiftly to keep cases flowing
Aid in efficient room turnovers to serve more patients effectively

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
BLS certificate required
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred
Graduate of accredited OR technician program, or relevant on-the-job/military training with proof
