Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and make their day better
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to protect residents and yourself
Maintain clean, safe resident environments and follow infection control practices
Document care activities clearly and timely in resident records
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists and families to coordinate great care
Participate in trainings and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB test as required by facility
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Reliable, professional demeanor with a caring attitude and strong teamwork skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable performing basic nursing procedures and personal care
Proficient at taking and recording vital signs
Safe resident transfer and lifting techniques
Basic charting and documentation practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
Commitment to infection control and resident safety
