Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and positioning following care plans
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Help create a warm, respectful environment that preserves dignity

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Basic working knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and resident rights

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs monitoring and basic charting
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Infection control practices and PPE use
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
