Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
Document care accurately and thoroughly to maintain clear resident records
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care plans
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Support residents with feeding, positioning, and safe transfers when needed

Qualifications

Current CNA certification/license valid in Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide direct patient care with compassion
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Immunizations and health screenings as required by facility policy

Education

CNA certification required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic nursing assistant duties and patient safety practices
Comfortable taking vitals and recognizing changes in condition
Knowledge of infection prevention and standard precautions
Able to document care clearly and follow care plans
Good interpersonal skills for building rapport with residents and families
