Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers, ambulation, and meal assistance
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses and support staff to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Pennsylvania certification preferred)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in a long-term care or clinical setting is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on per diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Skill in taking vital signs and recognizing changes in condition
Good documentation and time-management skills
Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans
Respectful interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff
