Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Measure and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and visitors
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting in a dignified manner
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies consistently

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Georgia or eligibility to obtain state certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and adapting to changing assignments
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered with good communication skills
• Must meet facility background check and immunization requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Practical knowledge of patient hygiene, transfers, and ADL assistance
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Understanding of infection prevention and standard precautions
• Strong teamwork, time management, and patient advocacy skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and cultural sensitivity
