Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
Document care thoroughly and communicate effectively with the care team
Help maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through kind communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification recognized in Pennsylvania
Active state registry status as required by facility
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and pre-employment health screening (immunizations)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced care setting

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside skills
Ability to take and accurately document vital signs and observations
Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic charting and electronic documentation comfort
Empathy, patience, and strong attention to detail
