Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning to reduce risk of injury
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (per state requirements) and completion of an approved CNA program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required depending on facility policy
Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude
Reliable attendance and the ability to work 12.5-hour shifts as scheduled

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and bedside skills
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection prevention and control practices
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Teamwork, time management, and effective communication
