Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any clinical changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and positioning to support comfort and prevent injury
Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control practices
Support patient nutrition needs by assisting with feeding and documenting intake
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Document care activities thoroughly and timely in the patient chart

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification for the state of Georgia
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to follow care plans, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and basic nursing procedures
Proficiency taking and documenting vital signs
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Basic charting and documentation practices
Good communication and teamwork skills
