Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
- Monitor and record resident observations and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal setup and feeding as needed, following care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
- Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift (specific schedule to be confirmed)
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented approach to resident care
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an accredited/state-approved CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and support with ADLs
- Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safety best practices
- Clear communication and teamwork with clinical staff
- Time management and attention to detail in caregiving tasks
