Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with dignity and compassion
Provide safe, attentive bedside care and assist with mobility and transfers
Observe and report changes in a resident’s condition to nursing staff promptly
Record accurate and timely documentation of care and vital signs
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care that improves quality of life

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
State-required background check and immunizations as applicable
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain as required)
Comfortable providing physical care and assisting with mobility
Compassionate communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and ADLs
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Basic documentation and charting skills
