Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Support safe transfers and positioning, following established protocols
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Help create a warm, dignified environment that promotes resident comfort

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (or eligible) — Pennsylvania preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a care team
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Previous long-term care or acute care experience is a plus but not always required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) support
Basic patient care skills: bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting assistance
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Comfortable with documentation and following established care plans
Respectful, patient-centered approach with strong observational skills
