Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to prevent falls and injuries
• Document care given accurately and complete required records in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized, resident-focused care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• Active state nursing aide listing or ability to obtain prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and required facility screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care best practices
• Skilled in safe patient handling and infection control procedures
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
• Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
