Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care for adult ICU patients, managing complex conditions and life-support devices
• Perform and assist with unit procedures such as central line and arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation
• Continuously assess patients, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns to the team promptly
• Use Meditech for accurate documentation and communication of patient care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Operate and interpret data from ICU equipment including Arctic Sun, continuous EEG, and GE ICU monitors
• Mentor and communicate clearly with unit staff and support personnel to ensure safe, efficient patient flow

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (state-required)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience (per job posting)
• Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Comfortable performing/assisting with critical procedures listed for the unit
• Experience with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred
