Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate Signa Artist 1.5T MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform MRI exams with careful patient positioning and attention to safety
• Document procedures clearly and timely using Meditech and Centricity PACS
• Collaborate with radiology team and unit staff to coordinate patient transport and care
• Maintain equipment and supplies, reporting any issues to leadership
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond professionally when called
• Adhere to unit policies, hospital dress code (black scrubs), and patient experience standards

Qualifications

• Active MRI license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience (as listed)
• Familiarity with Signa Artist 1.5T or similar MRI platforms
• Experience with Meditech and Centricity PACS documentation systems
• Strong patient communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency operating MRI scanners and pulse sequence selection
• Patient safety, screening, and positioning best practices
• Image post-processing and PACS workflow (Centricity PACS)
• Electronic documentation in Meditech
• Ability to manage a rotating on-call schedule and prioritize urgent studies
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with clinical staff and unit secretaries
